The Use and Maintenance of the Stalk Harvester machine

First, Let’s See How Does the Corn Stalk Harvester Machine Works

  • first step

When working, first adjust the corn stalk harvester machine to a height of 20-50 cm from the ground. (the lifting position should not be too high to avoid damage to the universal joint due to excessive deflection). Then engage the power output shaft, and rotate for 1-2 minutes. Hook up the working gear slowly, and loosen the clutch plate. (if you use Tie Niu -55, you need to use a secondary clutch.) Next, operate the hydraulic lift adjustment handle at the same time. So that the collector gradually drops to the required stubble height, and then increases throttle, put into normal operation.

  • second step

During operation, determine the harvested rows and the forward speed through the density of the straw planting and the horsepower of the tractor.

  • third step

During operation, you can adjust the direction of the discharge port and the angle of the baffle of the discharge port according to the size and position of the collection vehicle to match the straw harvester machine.

  • fourth step

When working, it is forbidden to throw a knife to hit the soil. When you find that the flail is hitting the soil, you should adjust the height of the ground wheel and the length of the upper rod.

  • fifth step

During operation, always pay attention to observe whether the straw ejection port is smooth. If there is no straw ejection at the exit end, stop immediately to check whether the fan is blocked.

  • sixth step

The corn stalk harvester machine should be lifted when turning, and can only land after turning. The stalk harvester should be stable when lifting and landing. It is forbidden to go backward during work. When transporting on the road, cut off the output power of the tractor and unload the discharge port.

  • seventh step

During operation, pay attention to clearing the entangled grass and avoid obstacles such as soil ridges, tree stumps, etc. Leave a 3-5m unit rotation zone at the top of the ground.

  • eighth step

If you hear abnormal noise during operation, stop and check immediately, and then continue operation after troubleshooting.

  • ninth step

Check the tightness of the belt at any time during operation, so as not to reduce the speed of the cutter shaft and affect the crushing quality and aggravate the belt wear.

  • tenth step

Equipped with a straw shredding machine for the wheat harvester machine, place the limit plate on the cylinder support on the oil tank before the operation to ensure the height of the collector from the ground.

Maintenance of the Straw Harvester Machine

The timely and correct maintenance, adjustment, and overhaul of the straw shredder collector are important measures to ensure the normal operation and efficient use of the straw harvester.

1. Shift maintenance (8 hours per operation)

1.1 Check and tighten the fasteners at each connection.

1.2 Check the sealing condition of the gearbox. The static joint surface does not leak oil, and the dynamic joint surface does not drip. If necessary, replace the sealing ring or oil seal.

1.3 Fill each lubricating point with lithium molybdenum disulfide grease.

1.4 As appropriate, remove the soil layer on the inner wall of the casing in time to avoid increasing the workload and aggravating the wear of the flail.

1.5 Check the wear of the flailing knife. When replacing it, replace it in groups (the weight difference of the flailing knife in the same group should not be more than 10 grams) to maintain the dynamic balance of the barrel shaft.

1.6 Check the temperature rise of each bearing. If the temperature rise is too high, it is caused by excessive bearing clearance or lack of oil, and adjust or refuel it in time.

1.7 Check whether the universal joint cross shaft retaining ring is misaligned or falls off, and adjust or replace it if necessary.

1.8 Open the fan cover and check whether the set screws on the blade hub are loose. If it is loose, tighten it in time.

2. Quarterly maintenance

2.1 Implement various regulations for shift maintenance.

2.2 Clean the gearbox and change the gear oil.

2.3 Thoroughly remove the soil, weeds, and oil on the returning machine.

2.4 Remove the triangle belt and store it separately.
